Portfolio of Photoshoots with Child Models with Disabilities, Vol. 2 – VISAGE studio
We received an offer from a photo studio in Chiba Prefecture to photograph child models with disabilities!

Hello, this is Miki Uchiki from Hanahiraku.
Our memorable second photoshoot took place on September 28, 2021.
We were requested by VISAGE studio, a photography studio based in Ichikawa City, Chiba Prefecture, to photograph child models with disabilities, and two models went for the shoot!
The models for this session were Sumire-chan and Kou-kun.
Of course, it was their first time visiting this photo studio and meeting the photographer. However, many of the children affiliated with our company do not feel shy around new people or places. While they were slightly nervous, as long as their guardians and our staff were present, they quickly adapted to the atmosphere.
Both Sumire-chan and Kou-kun were able to communicate, so while they half-followed and half-playfully ignored the photographer’s instructions , the shoot progressed peacefully.
In Kou-kun’s case, he even had a photoshoot with his hamster “Okome,” who is part of his family. (Question: Can you spot Okome?)
While feeding and petting Okome, he enthusiastically promoted, “At VISAGE studio, you can even take photos with pets!”
The photos taken that day were beautifully featured on VISAGE studio’s blog, accompanied by these wonderful words:
“At VISAGE studio, we take special care to ensure that children with disabilities can be photographed comfortably. We take extra precautions for safety and adjust our shooting methods accordingly. Whether it’s for special occasions or family photos, please feel free to reach out to us.”
For those living in Ichikawa City, Urayasu City, or Edogawa Ward who want to take studio photos of their children with disabilities, please contact VISAGE studio. They will gladly accommodate you.
Additionally, we interviewed VISAGE studio’s photographer, Mr. Senno, about photographing children with disabilities, which can be viewed on the “Support for People with Disabilities” page.
Children with disabilities can become advertising models too.
They show their true selves, offering a unique charm different from typical child models.
For any inquiries or questions about hiring child models with disabilities, please feel free to contact us.
